Yesterday we finished up our Mission Conference.
It sure was a good time. Every conference we have at Calvary seams to end with some good food and just hanging out together. That is what happen yesterday. Pastor Lee closed out the week long conference with service on Why we as people have the same job or ministry as these missionaries have. If is to go out and tell the world about Jesus Christ and then disciple them. You know teach them why we believe what we believe. I even had my own table this year. So I sat at it and enjoy some small talk with the people there.
I was very much encouraged by the other missionaries. The one that stuck with me was Richard Albury, Camp Bahamas. I saw how much and how far he has come since he and his family started this Camp. It just blows me away. Kevin has been through this camp (I think) three times, might even be more. But when he comes back from there he is on fire for the Lord and just tells me how much fun they had and why Richard does what he does. Richard is very much out there for the students. He goes to different areas to share God Word and does it very well. As he is a Bahamian he can pretty much relate to the kids.
Hey in two weeks there will be a concert at Calvary Bible, called Indication. At the time there will be some rappers and others to sing Christian songs and do skits. It only cost $5.00 pre ticket. If you are around during the 22 of March. Please check it out. It really sounds like a great time to worship and just hang with some good people.
