Well since April 11th my truck has been down and out. During that morning of the 11th, I blew my timing belt. I worked on it 11 to the 15th. I pulled it all apart. Then tried to get it to run. I thought I had the timing correct and ready to go? Like I said I thought. Well when the 16th came I said I don't have a clue what is wrong. So I called Mr Dawkins and his son. They came out and told me to tow it over to their shop. Which is only about 3 miles away. which we did that Tuesday. Mr Dawkins and his son worked on it an found out the timing was off by 90 degs. The reason was the book I was using was for 2.3 engines. My truck is a 2.5 liter. So they got it running, BUT rough. I kept telling them it ran great up to the point when the belt broke. They thought of all kinds of tings to do to make it happen. You know change the plugs and wires and do other tings. Well is came down to let us do a compression test. They did that and found out #3 was very low pressure. The others running around 160 pounds, #3 was around 30 pounds.
So now they took the head off and took is down to a guy here that does engine heads. You know rebuilds them. The pictures above is the gasket kit I bought Saturday. Now we will see what happens, prayerfully I should get it back on Wednesday. We will see?????
