This must of been a field trip? These are the only two picture I got from Mark. But I know there is so much more going on. This is why the ALC is there. During the Summer time there really is no other place to be.
I know while this time was going on, these kids were having a ball. Mark told me that they have been getting about 80 kids each week.
Now tomorrow is Bahama's Independence Day 10th. So pretty much every thing will be shut down. When they have a party for the country it rocks. Like tonight, around 9 pm, the big party starts at Fort Charlotte. It will go on until 12:01 am. That is when they raise the Bahamian flag. Then there is fire works and last couple of years they had a concert across the street at the Fish Fry area, Arawak Cay. That is where the real party starts. That is the time I usually start home.
This year is the 41st, which, I think will not be as big as last years? That was a huge under taking, 40th.
If I was back there I believe I would go tonight. It is neat to see people and just get to hang out with them too.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY BAHAMAS.
