Well this is Kathy and Gary's back yard. They have been trying to do some fixing and repairs on this old house. They got this place for a song. It needs some loving care. But it sure great to wake up and walk outside and just look an see such beauty.
So after having some breakfast, Kathy, Gary and I left to go downtown. (Mathews) Gary needed to go to work at the post office. He deliveries mail, on his route. I guess he has been doing this a while now. He works a rotation sift. With a couple of other mail persons.
So during the week-end after Labor Day they have this market style craft show and other items for sale too. Plus all the shops are open too.
I had a chance to talk with the gentlemen that makes all this. He told us that he doesn't do the painting but a young lady in town does it. Over all some real nice looking work.
Then on one of the side streets there were all these tents set up. You can see what they are talking about in the next picture.
Just some good old boys trying to keep the south the SOUTH.
Kathy and I walked into a many shops and just looked around and enjoy it.
This is one of the monuments they are talking about on that side street. Folks we can not change our history. BUT WHY DO THEY WANT TO?
If we don't know our history we will repeat it again and again.
I really hope we learn and move on and just enjoy all that our Lord has given us and love each other too. LET ITGO.
Hey I took a couple of looks at that pretty machine. They are only asking $5,500 for her. Wow she is worth it an more.
Well as I am now back in Balt again. Well my time is winding down. It is Sunday the 16th. Tomorrow I will be heading back home.
So I hope to be working on Blog at the airport.
It is 67 deg outside now and it feels beautiful.
Remember today is a day set a side for going to church? I think we will be going tonight at 5pm. The reason is Don and Meg had the grand children last night. Plus today we have the baby.
She is such a good baby slept all night long and woke up around 6:30 this morning.
It really nice to see how Dona and Meg take care of their grand children. It warm my heart.
